The arrangement is part of the product
Unlike a single large panel, tiles let you decide the pattern. A scattered arrangement covers more wall area for the same number of tiles and reads as intentional rather than as soundproofing bolted on.
A solid block absorbs more in one place, which suits treating a specific reflection such as the wall opposite a glazed partition.
Coverage, honestly
A set of four tiles will not transform a room. Acoustic treatment works on total absorptive area, and meaningful change in a hard-surfaced meeting room usually means covering a decent proportion of one or two walls.
Better to treat one room properly than scatter a few tiles across three.
Combine formats
