Anti-tilt is not optional
A filing cabinet with two loaded drawers open will go over forwards. Anti-tilt mechanisms allow only one drawer to open at a time, which is the difference between a cabinet and a hazard.
Every cabinet here has it. If you are comparing against something cheaper elsewhere, that is usually the feature that has been removed.
Foolscap or A4
Suspension files come in both sizes and the runners are spaced accordingly. Foolscap is the wider, more common office standard in the UK and takes A4 comfortably; A4-only cabinets are narrower and will not take foolscap files.
If you have existing files, match what you have rather than what you think you should have.
Alternatives worth considering
For under-desk personal filing, pedestals and drawers are usually a better fit than a full cabinet. For larger volumes behind doors, lateral filing frames inside a cupboard hold more per square metre than upright cabinets do.
