Getting cables off the floor
Cable spines, trays and baskets that carry cabling from floor to desk and along bench runs, including Air back-to-back and height adjustable desk spines.
Three parts, three jobs
A spine runs vertically, carrying cable from the floor up to the desk. A tray or basket runs horizontally underneath, holding slack and power bricks off the carpet. Linking bars join positions on a bench run so one supply feeds several desks.
Most offices buy one of the three and wonder why it still looks untidy.
Sit-stand needs a flexible spine
This is the part that gets missed. A rigid spine that is neat at sitting height goes taut when the desk rises, and taut cables pull plugs out of sockets or stop the desk reaching full height.
The Air spines are designed to extend and retract with the frame. Specify one with every sit-stand desk and every back-to-back run.
Order it with the desks
Cable management is frame-specific, and retrofitting it to an occupied office means moving everybody twice. It is the cheapest part of a fit-out to get right at specification and one of the most disruptive to fix afterwards.
