Order more than you think
The instinct is to count desks. The right count is closer to headcount, because people keep a locker on the days they are not in the office. A locker is a personal space in a building where they no longer have one.
Under-ordering lockers is the most common mistake in an agile fit-out, and retrofitting means finding wall space you already allocated.
Where to put them
Near the entrance or the route people take on arrival, not tucked in a back corner. A locker somebody has to detour for is a locker they stop using by week three.
