Draughtsman chairs are working seats
A draughtsman chair is a task chair on a taller gas lift with a footring. The footring is the part that matters: without somewhere to rest your feet, a high seat puts all the load through the back of the thighs and becomes unbearable within an hour.
If someone works at a high bench for hours, buy a proper draughtsman chair with adjustment and a footring rather than a tall stool.
Bistro stools are social seats
