Power routed inside the frame
Desks with cable routing built into the leg, so power and data run down inside the frame instead of hanging loose behind it. A small premium over a plain leg, and the one upgrade people are most consistently glad they made.
What it actually fixes
The visible drop between desk and floor. Every other cable solution manages the cable under the desk and then abandons it at the back edge, where it hangs in full view. A cable managed leg carries it down inside the upright.
It also stops cables being kicked, rolled over by chair castors, and pulled out of sockets when a desk is nudged.
It is not a complete solution on its own
The leg gets the cable from desk height to floor level. Getting it from there to the wall or floor box still needs planning, and getting it from the desktop into the leg needs a cable port or scalloped edge.
Our cable management range covers the trays, spines and baskets that complete the run.
Where it matters most
Desks that float in the middle of a room rather than sitting against a wall, and any office where visitors see the desks from behind. In both cases the loose drop is the untidiest thing in the room.
